Ihram

Wear the prescribed clothing for Ihram, which consists of two white, unstitched pieces of fabric for men, and modest clothing for women.

Tawaf

Proceed to the Holy Kaaba in Masjid al-Haram and perform Tawaf, which involves circling the Kaaba seven times in a counter-clockwise direction.

Sa'i

After completing Tawaf, proceed towards the hills of Safa and Marwa to perform Sa'i. Sa'i is the act of walking between these two hills, retracing the footsteps of Hajar (wife of Prophet Ibrahim) in search of water for her son Ismail.

Halq or Taqseer

After completing Sa'i, men have the option of either shaving their heads completely (Halq) or trimming their hair (Taqseer). Women are only required to cut a small portion of their hair. This act symbolizes the completion of Umrah.
